I'm a community builder with over 10 years experience in summit programming, diversity outreach, operations, event production, social media strategy, and partnership development.

FounderMade - Co-Founder & CXO

New York, NY | August 2017 - Present

  • Train and manage an audience development team of three which aided in doubling summit attendance in 2018 to 3800.

  • Develop speaker package opportunities in partnership with the sales department which generated an additional $100,000 in sponsorship in 2018.

  • Lead outreach and speaker management for 40+ speakers per show, and engaged headliners such as Dave Asprey, Huda Kattan, Jay Manuel, Bobbi Brown, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and more.

  • Identify and develop partnership pipeline with community groups such as Classpass, Spring Place, Regus, The Riveter, Dreamers & Doers, SheWorx and more to increase awareness and attendance surrounding the summits.

  • Develop KPI’s per audience segment and strategies to deliver on audience growth.

  • Built consumer product trade show with 10,000+ attendees in two years.

  • Developed event experience strategy for 12 summits to increase attendee engagement and increase social reach.

  • Managed all event vendor negotiations and contracts for vertical-specific summits to stay within budget and maintain a minimum of a 60% margin.

  • Developed and managed HR, production, and finance processes to aid in growing the company to 10 employees.

Google - Senior Glass Guide-Marketing

New York, NY | March 2013 - March 2015

  • Presented 200+ product demos to global VIP’s, C-level executives, celebrities, and government officials, resulting in 29 brand partnership requests, 30 enterprise sales leads, and 12 media articles.

  • Coordinated 5 cross-functional field-marketing teams to demo at events such as the Conde Nast Digital Learning Conference and WWD Beauty CEO Summit, resulting in product awareness to over 35,000 potential customers per year.

  • Managed 9-person mobile team and demo reporting to determine the reach and efficiency of events.

  • Chosen over 32 other guides to represent Google as a product expert spokesperson on camera for national and international news outlets such as CNN, ITV (UK), and Globo TV (Brazil).

Netroots Nation - Outreach Director

San Francisco, CA | April 2010 – November 2012

  • Managed the Netroots Nation scholarship program in partnership with Democracy for America, resulting in a 10% increase in applicants per year.

  • Developed minority and technology conference partnership strategies focused on building awareness, positioning value propositions, engaging online communities, and acquiring attendees for our annual conference.

  • Improved diversity outreach to Latino/a, Asian, African-American, and LGBT groups, resulting in a 30% increase in minority attendance.

  • Identified and evaluated new sponsorship opportunities that boosted conference revenue by 5% and sponsor visibility.
